Brandy Corcoran Carlson
STRATEGY AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Brandy joined Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management to establish it as a leader in the wealth management industry. She has spent the majority of her career advising or representing companies in the financial services industry. During her career, Brandy has held executive-level positions with small to medium-sized, growth companies in business development, client/investor relations and capital markets. Most recently, she built and launched the strategic planning and capital raising initiatives for two early stage, alternative investment companies. In each case, she was instrumental in raising the companies’ market profiles and establishing relationships with institutional investors including private equity firms, hedge funds, family offices, banks and alternative investment platforms.
Prior to Seventy2 Capital, Brandy was a Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for a specialty finance company where she launched key initiatives to strengthen the capital base and expand its origination channels. Brandy was previously a Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives at RailField Partners, a multifamily, real estate investment and asset management firm started by former senior executives of Fannie Mae’s multifamily business unit. She was primarily responsible for investor relations and sourcing investment partners among state and local public pension funds, insurance companies, and family offices. Brandy also has a strong understanding of financial institutions from having served as the head of the Community and Regional Banking practice and Corporate Marketing team at Primatics Financial, a fast growing, fintech company backed by The Carlyle Group. Earlier in her career, Brandy held various positions with BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting), LexisNexis, NHP Inc., and Lazard Brothers.
Brandy earned a Master in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. She also holds a Bachelors in International Business with a concentration in Finance from American University where she was a Presidential scholar and graduated with honors. She is a mother of 4 and a board member and 2019 and 2020 Gala Co-Chair of Generation Hope.
