Linda Whittington leads the Seventy2 Capital office in Tysons Corner, Virginia, as a Market Director. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Financial Advisor. With over 17 years of professional experience in the industry, she strives to provide clients with the highest level of knowledge, trust, and service. She was named a 2024 and 2025 Five Star Professional Wealth Manager. Linda believes that by forging close bonds with clients, she’s able to create personalized investment programs and open lines of communication that allow for a deeper understanding of client goals.
Linda develops comprehensive wealth management strategies, including investment recommendations, retirement planning, and liability management for high-net-worth individuals, families, and executives. Linda is also a key leader in the extension of Seventy2 Capital’s geographic footprint in Virginia.
Linda’s previous experience includes roles with Morgan Stanley and, most recently, Wells Fargo Advisors. She earned a dual degree from Radford University in Business and Education and the Investment Management Theory and Practice Certification from the Yale School of Management. Linda originally started her career as an educator and uses these skills to develop strong client relationships by fostering trust through continued learning.
Linda resides in Middleburg, Virginia with her two sons and three dogs. In her leisure time, she spends time with family and friends and enjoys golfing and skiing.

The Five Star Wealth Manager award was issued on 01/01/2025 by Five Star Professional (FSP) for the time period 04/10/2024 through 10/31/2024. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP’s consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP’s consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client’s experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. FSP does not evaluate quality of services provided to clients.
