As a Market Director and a financial advisor, Scott Gibson leads the Seventy2 Capital office in Charlottesville, Virginia and provides wealth management services to a wide array of clients. Whether business owners, retirees, working professionals, or healthcare personnel, Scott takes a holistic approach when consulting each individual. He asks questions to fully understand their objectives and crafts a personalized goal-based plan for their cash management, debt management, investment preservation, and tax needs.
Scott has worked in investment management for nearly twenty years. He began his career at Wachovia as a Licensed Senior Financial Specialist. From there, he served as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch, and then a Private Wealth Advisor and Managing Director at Ameriprise Financial.
Scott earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from James Madison University with a major in Finance. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball and golf, and volunteering in his community through foodbanks, fundraiser races, and work with his church.
