As an Executive Vice President at Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management, Scott McLaughlin combines his broad experience from two separate financial service industries in his approach to investing. Congenial as he is credentialed, Scott has dedicated his forty-year career to delivering consistent, top-level service through major shifts and changes in the markets.
Scott draws on tools such as his designation as a PIM Portfolio Manager and his multi-disciplinary background, including work as a CPA* (though he is no longer practicing), when developing tax-efficient strategies and solving complex planning issues for his clients. He also utilizes extensive technical research to bring a truly proactive approach for his clients at Seventy2 Capital.
Residents of Northern Virginia for over forty years, Scott and his wife – a Trauma Intensive Care Nurse – have successfully raised 6 children and love spending time with their granddaughters. As a family, the McLaughlin’s enjoy being active – often boating, hiking, traveling, or spending time in Sunset Beach, NC. In his spare time, Scott enjoys golf, bicycling, and tending to the fish in his saltwater aquarium!
