As an Executive Director and Financial Advisor at Seventy2 Capital, Scott strives to make clients’ lives easier through planning for retirement, educational expenses, charitable giving, insurance, and estate protection. In his role, he takes the time to get to know his clients and their financial goals, and then creates a roadmap to help achieve them. Scott offers a wide range of wealth management services, utilizing best-in-class research and a propriety investment selection process with an emphasis on tax-sensitive investing. Based on clients’ specific needs, he can help them build and maintain the wealth and financial freedom they desire. Scott can deliver a full range of investment planning strategies tailored to the client’s unique needs. Whether they are investing for retirement, education expenses or some other goal, Scott will help the clients make informed decisions about their investment strategy. Scott has received multiple awards in recognition of his excellent work as a Financial Advisor. He was recognized as a Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council member from 2011-16 and from 2018-2025 as well as being recognized as a Five Star Financial Advisor 2013-2015, 2017, and 2021-2025.

 

As a former Senior Financial Advisor and Managing Director with Wells Fargo Advisors, Scott brings over 24 years of experience with Wells Fargo and roughly 30 years of experience in financial services to his role at Seventy2 Capital. At Seventy2 Capital Scott supports clients in both our new Metropark office and our Mountainside office.

 

Outside of work, Scott likes to spend quality time with his wife and kids, fishing, live sporting events, and live music venues. Scott graduated from PACE University.

The Five Star Wealth Manager award was issued on 12/01/2024 by Five Star Professional (FSP) for the time period 03/13/2024 through 10/07/2024. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP’s consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP’s consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client’s experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. FSP does not evaluate quality of services provided to clients.
