Ryan Russo and Ginny Koontz-DeLauder join Seventy2 Capital, opening two new offices

Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management, a client-centered, independent wealth management practice headquartered in the Washington DC – Baltimore region, announced today that the practice has expanded its presence to Chesapeake and Culpepper, Virginia, with the addition of Ryan Russo and Ginny Koontz-DeLauder.

“We are thrilled to add Ryan and Ginny to our team and enter new areas in Culpepper and Chesapeake. Together they bring over 25 years of experience in financial services with multiple practices, including Merrill Lynch, Freedom Street Partners, and The Henderson Group. We are looking forward to working with them!” said President and Co-Founder of Seventy2 Capital, Tom Fautrel.

Ryan is planning-driven and relationship-focused with an emphasis on disciplined portfolio construction, risk management, and long-term decision making. His process begins with understanding each client’s long-term goals, priorities, and financial picture before implementing an investment strategy. Ryan’s approach integrates investment strategy with broader financial planning considerations such as tax efficiency, retirement income planning strategies, and estate planning strategy coordination.

Ginny’s focus with every client is wealth planning that reflects their life, values, and personal roadmap. She defines success as confidence and freedom, helping clients feel confident about where they’re headed and feel supported every step of the way. A significant portion of Ginny’s clients are women, widowed, divorced, single, or those just looking to gain confidence in their joint finances including investments.

When asked what excites them about joining Seventy2 Capital, Ginny said, “Stepping into this partnership with Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management as an independent advisor feels like the natural next step in the way I want to serve people. I’m excited to grow a stronger, more connected community. One where clients feel supported and understood and where fellow professionals can collaborate and thrive together. What drew me to Seventy2 was the shared belief that relationships matter, and that the work we do is ultimately about helping people build lives they’re proud of.”

Ryan added, “Joining Seventy2 Capital represents an exciting next chapter for my practice. The firm’s infrastructure and advisor-first culture allow me to focus on what matters most—delivering thoughtful financial planning and long-term investment guidance for my clients. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow my practice within a platform that supports both independence and a high level of service for the families I work with.
