A Letter from CEO & Co-Founder, Paul Carlson

As we head into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate all we’ve accomplished this past year and thank each of you for everything you did to make it happen. Our continued growth is easy to see in our year-end numbers below, and we have established a clear roadmap to keep expanding. I am proud to see what our team members have achieved together, especially since every added service and stat represents a client we’re helping to reach their financial goals.

Company Milestones

  • Our company was recognized as a 2025 Barron’s Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams, Forbes Top Wealth Management Teams High Net Worth, and Washington Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Business.
  • We expanded the corporate team to provide additional professional support in human resources, finance, marketing, and compliance
  • Our family of brands has expanded to include 7200 Tax Partners

 

Updated Mission, Vision, and Values

As we continue to grow and evolve as a practice, Seventy2 Capital revisited how we define ourselves and what we’re working towards. The updated mission, vision, and values statements below were unveiled at our Annual Conference and will roll out officially in Q1.

  • Mission:  to bridge ambition and independence — supporting clients to achieve their most important goals by giving advisors the autonomy to serve with purpose, integrity, and clarity
  • Vision: to be the nation’s leading destination for independent wealth management
  • Values:
  • Purpose – our clients and their success are the reason behind everything we do
  • Integrity – we act as a trustworthy partner, prioritizing honesty and follow-through on promises
  • Clarity – we simplify the picture of where we are, where we’re going, and how to get there

 

Team Member Additions & Retirements

We are privileged and honored to have 45 new team members this year, including two new offices in Andover, MA and Metropark, NJ.  Thank you all for choosing to join our team! With these additions, we also share the bittersweet news of two retirements. These individuals have been a huge asset to Seventy2 Capital and will be sorely missed, but we are excited for them in their next chapter.

Title Changes

Moving into 2026, we will be making updates to our title structure. Three title groups will be changing:

  • Wealth Associates –> Client Service Associates (CSAs)
  • Managing Directors (Office Leader) –> Market Directors
  • Managing Directors (Corporate Team) –> C-Suite

 

Additionally, several new positions have been added:

  • We added tiers for Executive Market Directors, Managing Directors, Senior Managing Directors, and Executive Client Service Associates to recognize our team members’ expanded achievements.
  • We have started hiring Wealth Planning Associates, with a four-tier growth plan:
    • Wealth Planning Associate
    • Senior Wealth Planning Associate
    • Wealth Planning Manager
    • Senior Wealth Planning Manager
  • Support staff identified by office leaders will now be recognized for the duties they perform for the benefit of their broader office:
    • Office Administration Manager
    • Office Coordinator
