Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management named to Barron’s 2024 Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams

Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management named to Barron’s 2024 Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams

Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management, a client-centered, independent wealth management practice headquartered in the Washington DC – Baltimore region, announced today that they ranked 56th on Barron’s 2024 Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams.

“We are honored to be included in Barron’s Top Teams for the second consecutive year (2023 and 2024), and thrilled to have moved from 99th to 56th on the list,” said Paul Carlson, CEO & Co-Founder of Seventy2 Capital. “The advancement of our ranking is a validation of our team’s work to support our Advisors.  The best part is that our clients are the winners.”

Each year, Barron’s ranks wealth advisory teams that specialize in serving individuals and families on a variety of factors, including their size and shape, regulatory records and credentials of their members, and the resources they have at their disposal to serve their client bases. These lists serve as a starting point for clients looking for an advisor, or first-pass vetting that can help investors narrow a search.

Seventy2 Capital is paving the way in the wealth management industry by combining the benefits and support of a wirehouse firm with the freedom and compensation of independence. Co-Founders Paul Carlson and Thomas Fautrel founded the practice in 2016 after leaving a wirehouse firm and joining Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (WFAFN). They quickly realized that there was a demand for a business model that allowed their fellow advisors to go independent, yet still have a platform in place to handle overhead and back-office tasks, such as taking care of office space, human resources, operational support, marketing, and asset management. Today, the practice is one of the largest and fastest growing within WFAFN, growing from $200 million in assets under management in December 2016 to over $6 billion as of May 2024.
